"I graduated from Leon in 2016. I loved my experience there, it is your quintessential high school and one of the oldest in the Country. While it had its problems like every school, for a public school it offered everything you could expect coupled with an enthusiasm for learning and unbeatable school spirit. I was able to advance academically with AP courses and had access to a myriad of clubs and sports. I will always remember the picturesque "school on the hill"."

"I absolutely love this school. From the moment you step on campus and see the 3 stories of brick rising above you you can begin to sense the atmosphere created by a bunch of students who really want to be there. Whether it's at sporting events (which are the most well attended of any high school in the city) or jus walking through the halls this school really stands out for its quality education and tremendous character. The administration is fantastic and Leon is jus overall a fantastic school to attend and I'll be proud to say I'm a Leon Lion for years to come."

"I loved the rich history behind this wonderous school. My time there was spent learning about Leon as well as all of the subjects required. I rather enjoyed the many musical opportunities offered. I would like to see a change though in the appreciation for some of the extracurricular classes."

"The school offered an exciting and tradition-filled culture. This is a great school, but needs some upgrading, due to be an older, long standing community school."

"Leon High was a welcoming school, the first time I walked in the staff was very up-lifting. They live and pride on the school spirit."
