"Overall the teachers at Leon do an adequate job at knowing the material they teach. Some teachers can have a teaching style that is built for them, rather than trying to mold a style from the type of students you get. But other than that, Leon and it's teachers are quite wonderful."

"Leon High School is a fantastic school. I am currently a senior, so I've been able to experience almost a full fours years at this school. They have an outstanding performing arts program and a wonderful principal who luckily supports the arts. The science and english department are well staffed and sufficient in teaching new material. Overall, I have really enjoyed my experience at this school. I wouldn't choose any other school because no other high school I know has as much pride and tradition as Leon. I am very proud to be called a Leon Lion."

"I love Leon and am proud to call myself a Leon Lion. My school carries a sense of pride in our history and strong traditions that not many other schools have, because we are the oldest public high school in Florida. I have enjoyed my superb education at Leon as an AP student thus far, and am more than excited and ready to enter my senior year."

"The teachers at Leon High School come prepared for every class and give a decent amount of workload for home. If a student has after school activities, counselors will help them."
