"I am a rising senior in the Cambridge Program at Gainesville and have been very impressed. Overall, the academics are very rigorous, and teachers are passionate about helping students succeed. Transitioning from a small middle school to Gainesville High made me slightly nervous, but I could not have been happier with my decision."

"I like some of the teachers at GHS, and how the students get together and have fun during football and basketball. Sometimes GHS can be fun and other times its boring cause the deans did not let us do anything."

"I like the school as for academics. The teachers are well versed in their subject matters. I think the classroom size and the lack if one in one is a shortfall. Although the numbers may meet the requirements if the school, I was used to smaller classroom sizes having come from a private school years before attending GHS."

"The teachers are great, especially Mr. Owens. His curriculum is interesting and I learned more about geography, history, arts, politics, etc from his class than from some of my academic classes throughout my high school years."

"I liked that GHS had AHP and Cambridge. Both programs allowed students to find what they are interested in and work at a harder level. The administration is not very helpful, they pick and choose children to converse with. Deans call out certain students based on their education, for example, a Cambridge student does not get in as much trouble as a regular student."
