"Inspiration, leadership, setting goals and the highest standards, and giving you the tools, knowledge and patient guidance to get there. This what I hope for by putting my child in tangelo park elementary . I did not get for her ms. woods was the worse teacher that I ever met . she put the blame on the caretaker for her down fall as a teach. she will be little you and your child over and over again. this woman made my child hate school,crying to me and saying please don't make me go and see her "ms.woods makes fun of me in front of everyone" and even told her that she would never get out of the second grade if you love your child DON'T PUT THEM IN TANGELO!!!"

"we moved south for cultural diversity, not culture SHOCK. my child is the only white student in her kindergarten class. at the beginning of the year, she cut her own hair so the other girls wouldn't touch it. a boy in her class broke her brand new birthday necklace and because no adult witnessed it, nothing was done about it. the principal is rude and takes all criticism against the school personally. we are moving before the next school year just to get my daughter in a new school. WORST public school experience EVER!"

"As a Tangelo teacher, I can truly say Tangelo is one of the best schools ever. The principal is outstanding and makes each teacher reach every child. The administation, teachers, and students are one big family. From the administration down, we go above and beyond in the areas of compassion, time, and finances. As far as our academic performance is concerned, our ranking as an 'A' school speaks for itself. Tangelo Park proves that all children have the ability to achieve in spite of possible financial and social challanges. N. Wright"

"As an African American I feel great pride in a predominately Black school that consistently excels. To attain the level of an 'A' school is a daunting task when dealing with children from 'less than perfect' backgrounds and home life--but the teachers and staff do it well. I am a proud mother and PTA member of Tangelo Park."
