    "Excelsior is a latin word meaning higher and always upward which this school personifies in their approach to education. From the administration to the faculty these individuals take it upon themselves to make sure that these students realize the importance of an education day in and day out. These teachers make students wonder, question, criticize, apologize (and mean it) show their work in math and then hide it in english. They make parents see their kids in a new light. These teachers are making a difference. Excelsior Academy is the DEFINITION of a great school and this country could benefit from others like it."
