"We recently moved into the area and enrolled our son at this school. He was bullied by the other kids, and was definitely made to feel unwelcome The school was not up to par in academics and we were very disappointed. We pulled our son out of school there and are moving to another town to have a better school alternative."

"It is a wonderful school. It is a small rural school that does a great job educating our young students."

"My daught er has went to moore haven since pre school always made straight A`s and aced her fcat. I just recieved her first report card for this year ( her fourth grade year) and she made 3 D`s I can`t believe this! I believe it has alot to do with the school this year. She has had 3 homeroom teachers in the first 9 weeks alone. and countless subs I think something should be done to give our children stablity"

"I have been very pleased with MHES. My daughter has attended K-4. 4th grade has been somewhat disappointing, however. I would like to see an improved exceptional student program than the existing one. I am pleased that they are working on advancing the program. The principal is personable and responsive to issues. I would like to see a more relaxed school dress code, which allows imbellishments on jeans and does not require collars on shirts. Other than that it is a good dress code. The school cafeteria is providing healthy options, meals and drinks for students. The music, health, physical education, library and computer programs (specials) are a big plus. I would really like to see soccer added to football, basketball, track and softball activities. Overall, the teachers and staff are friendly, cooperative, available for discussions about your child and allow as much parent involvement as one is able to do."
