"At Seminole High School in Pinellas County, I've had a great experience so far. All the teachers I've had have been great and have worked with me. They've been understanding and make class enjoyable by teaching the material in different ways."

"I loved this school but more hands on activities to better study techniques would be helpful. Not all of the teachers did their job when they needed to. I went in after to get help from a teacher and their availability wasn't open enough for me to get the help I needed and that goes along with other students as well. Overall, it was a great school and the counselors are very very helpful in helping their students achieve their goals and succeed."

"So far i have loved my experience at Seminole High School. I have made many friends, i have a lot of great teachers. It's not all rainbows and sun shines though...there are the occasional fights, and not all the teachers are great. I feel like the school could improve their staff and add more Career based high school courses. Some of the teachers don't even teach, iv heard kids complaining that they will fail because their teachers haven't taught anything. Luckily i got most of the good teachers."

"I liked the academic rigor that was expected from each student. I also loved how strong our arts programs were. One major change I wish to see as an alumni is a greater appreciation for the arts. While I attended there was a ton of money poured into our terrible football program, but the theater department (which was one of the best in the county) received hardly any money and had to fund-raise tens of thousands of dollars a year. In addition, our band was arguably the best in the county and one of the best in the state, but was underappreciated and underfunded by the administration. Also, bring back block scheduling! The 4x4 schedule was the best thing to ever happen to SHS."

"I like going to Seminole high school because of the teachers. They are always so helpful with work and take time to personally explain things that you're not understanding. I think the campus could be a little cleaner but overall I love my school."
