"The teaching staff at Haines City are very affable. Whenever you need help on a lesson, instead of giving short responses, you'll be sat down and given a thorough refresher! In the classroom, all students are in groups; so no one is left behind. In addition, the teachers are very knowledgeable of their subject. Many of which have been consistently teaching their subject for over 20 years! They understand how stressful their rigorous workload can get, so as long as you communicate with them, they'll be pretty flexible with you. While all of this may sound nice...grades are the problem. Due to a large student body consistency in grades is hard to come by. Nonetheless, Haines City can still be great place for a student to learn and grow!"

"There is an enormous difference between regular/intensive classes, honors classes, and AP/IB classes. The regular class teachers care about their students just as much as the students care about them: not at all. It is hectic in those classrooms and nothing gets done. The honors classes have teachers who care about their students, but not really their subjects. The teach well, but there is some room for improvement. The AP teachers are phenomenal. Greatest high school teachers I have ever seen."

"The teachers really do more than they have to. Many are willing to stay after school to help a student understand a concept. They try to incorporate the different learning styles of their students, such auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learners."

"The AP program and environmental club is great. Everything else is crappy. No school spirit, councelors are never available and only care about select students, regular classes are horrid. Many students should not graduate that do. Being a minute late should not mean missing the entire class. The student is just missing valuable class time, then."
