"St. Cecilia is a wonderful mix of hard work and community. The faculty and staff give greatly of their time and energy wanting nothing more than to see their students succeed. It's also incredible to see, unlike in other schools I've attended, there is friendship between people from different grades and cliques are not very prevalent either. Catholicism is the most prominent religion at St. Cecilia as it is run by the Dominican Sisters of Nashville, TN but girls of other religious backgrounds are welcomed and are able to learn more about another faith besides their own and the Catholic girls can do likewise through their friends and peers who may not share their religious affiliation or beliefs. Overall St. Cecilia Academy has been a fantastic experience and I have had to work harder than at any other school I have attended but in the end it has helped me to feel prepared for college."

"I am the person I am today because of this school. I attend a top 20 university and I know I would not without having attended here. My education was extremely personal, in depth and taught me a lot about searching for the truth in the world. However, being a couple years removed from the school, I have noticed that many things are not positive about my experience. St. Cecilia Academy is incredibly insular, many girls are EXTREMELY privileged. While there is nothing wrong with being so privileged, it was shocking by the time I was a senior to see how many were unaware of their privilege. There are plenty of girls not like this. However, I always felt there was favoritism by the administration towards these girls. Certain families did rule the scene. loved this school dearly, but by the time I graduated, it became too much. One also apparent thing I noticed by the time I graduated was slight sexism when talking about students' futures. From select individuals at this school, I felt as there was almost attitude of not understanding why the girls were working hard, as their futures were only going to be raising children. There is nothing wrong with aspiring to be a mother and wife. However, I felt as though it was invalidating my own and many other girls' hard work to attend a top university and have a career. This really struck a wrong note with my parents and I both. Despite this, SCA made me the woman I am today. I am free-thinking and well-spoken because of my education there. I was well-prepared for college. From a girl who came into high school incredibly shy, but now holds a top leadership position at her university, the effect of this education is more than apparent. I will never make greater friends than I did there. SCA was one of the best choices I probably ever made and will make."

"I am a recent grad, and the teachers at this school are fabulous. They were some of my biggest supporters and I do keep in touch with a lot. Most have had fantastic educations themselves and this school is lucky to have them. That being said, the higher up administrators of this school needs to realize just how blessed they are, I have witnessed some of the best teachers leave this school due to frustrations with the administration and negative changes. Teachers sacrifice so much for their students here, they deserve recognition and appreciation for that."

"My overall experience at this school so far has been amazing. The community is so friendly and welcoming, and eventually everyone will be able to find where they fit in. The faculty truly care about you, and maybe if you don't get along with all of them, you will find at least one that you can connect with. The academics are extremely challenging, and every girl has the opportunity to push themselves with regular, donors, and AP classes. That's not to say this school is perfect; no school is. The course load is no joke; girls can often become stressed out. You have to stay focused and on task (you learn time-management skills quickly). Ultimately, I have loved my time here and am so grateful to be in this community."
