"My experience with the Soulsville Charter School was very educational and family oriented. I started off as a middle schooler I'm the eighth grade and just recently completed my last year of high school in 2016. I am a proud alumni and am so glad I received my education there, because they helped and pushed me further into pursuing the rest of my education outside of high school."

"The school is very academic. They make sure that you're further education is taking care of and that your payments are taken care of without using loans. Academics is their main focus."

"The school accepts students with varied academic backgrounds. The academics and discipline for the middle school are good, but I could not give the school an overall five star average, because of the lack of a PE class, other electives, and parental involvement. I know that teaching space is one of the problems that they face at the school, but it seems important to me to focus on the well-being of the whole child, not just academics and the brain. There are educational subjects that I learned during middle school (optonal school), that my child has not been exposed to yet in her two years there. They attempt to offset this by taking the students places and bringing people in to speak with them. I know that colleges focus on more than academics. The extra-curricular activities are not well put together ( some would rate 1-3), but they do improve yearly."

"My experience at Soulsville was interesting, I wouldn't down the school at all it just didn't feel like a real high school. Soulsville administration feels like you have to earn everything which goes with their Grammy system whereas everyone needs 50 grammies or more to feel accepted. The students are very well oriented on college they even have a cast office that deal with the students on applying to colleges and scholarships.I wouldn't recommend this school for students who want to be in more sports and clubs but if they want to be musically incline then yes. The school has a great rugby team but the basketball team doesn't know how to work together other than that the school is great. The school is not diverse as students predominately African American students but the teachers are diverse. The school has helped me academically out of the year and the half I have been at Soulsville and now I am a senior."
