"The school is not the worst or best school in the country. The thing about school is that it is what you make it. You can choose whether to get by or to excel. You put in the work and the school is there to help along the way. You can find good teachers in this school able and willing to help you reach you academic goals. You just have to know where to look and how to ask for help. The people in this school are very diverse and so you are able to meet lots of different people who speak different languages and have different cultures. Overall, you can have a good time, surround yourself with positive people, and still manage to have great academic achievements in this school."

"Sometimes you get stuck with bad teachers who don't want to give out assignments because they'd be to lazy to grade them. Other times you get great teachers who go above to help you out. Some teachers don't want to teach the standards but other know no creativity outside the standards. Many teachers in honors classes or AP classes want to give out lots of work as if they're the only ones giving out work. As long as you have time, it's okay, but in this community many students work or hae family responsibilities to deal with so homework can be overwhelming."

"People can be mean and people can be nice. Some people will take advantage of you. As a student, you have to surround yourself with people you know will make you strive for better. There are lots of different cultures you can learn about. People with many similar religions. People who like to do the same stuff as you aren't hard to find."

"My favorite experience was my four year JROTC experience. It brought out the best in me, things I thought wasn't possible. Even though the many difficult time it only made the school as a whole become closer. If I could do everything over i would not change a thing because honesty Kingsbury was one of the best lifetime experiences."
