"The school isn't really organized on the class schedules things like they put me in classes that where unneeded such as like accounting and business and it made my GPA go down"

"South Gibson was a great high school. Some of the classes could have been more focused and not as unorganized. The students should have had less freedom and should have been more disciplined. I enjoyed my years here, but things should be changed."

"This school system encourages its students to be involved in extracurricular activities, be college and career-minded, excel academically, and get involved in the community. There are a lot of activities that students can get involved in! South Gibson offers clubs, sports, and many other programs. It also pushes its students to excel through high classroom expectations, tutoring programs, career-focused and skill set classes, and counseling opportunities. In addition, the staff at South Gibson really cares about their student's well-being! Due to the school's enforced no tolerance policy for inappropriate conduct and regularly tested emergency procedures, I never felt unsafe. However, there could always be improvements such as the cafeteria food, more unity as a student body, more challenging academics, and more preparation for college or career-minded goals. In any school system, there is always room to grow, but South Gibson County High School is doing just that!"

"I would like to see more of a willingness by administration and staff to prepare students for college."
