"Being a student at Gulfport High I am very happy with where I am. I am going into my senior year and I am very happy that I will be graduating an Admiral. One of the biggest things I appreciate about Gulfport is how they have prepared me to take the ACT, I have very bad test anxiety and being able to look at old versions of the ACT really helped me overcome my anxiety which has allowed me to score a 24 on the test. Not only that but the school continues to encourage me to take the test again and do better."

"The school and the district teach the ACT. Beginning in middle school, students begin taking the ACT because the test helps determine funding. At least once a nine weeks, in each subject, students take A practice ACT test for a grade. This is beneficial to students that are good at standardized test taking but can really hurt those that are not seeing as one bad test grade can tank your grade. Aside from the school putting too much pressure on its students to do well on the ACT, GHS is a good school that offers many great options such as med tech, engineering, and culinary."

"I've been a student at GHS for 4 years now and its been such an honor to be a part of the Admiral nation. The teachers and counselors are super supportive and committed . They will sit and talk with you for however long you need when you have a problem. The school is currently under construction and is expanding the area and the education. Gulfport High offer lots of AP class for your child to choose from. They also offer college class that helps your child get ready for the college and also saves you money."
