"Some teachers are really good, others are only there for the paycheck. OC has great music programs. My biggest issue is the school's infrastructure. It just feels outdated and needs serious renovation. There aren't enough men's restrooms and sometimes they close the few they do have due to "vandalism." Also, there are just some plain backwards policies. No hats/hoods, vending machines don't turn on until after lunch is over, most classrooms don't even have computers for the students to research like many other schools. The teachers have to rent laptop carts which sometimes aren't available. They're also getting rid of 5th period for what's pretty much a study hall/club time. This is resulting in many students having to drop classes they want to take so the school can "build community." Apparently Anime Club is more important than AP Government. Finally, the food's disgusting. OCHS is an okay school but things need to change."

"The school teachers were good. Nothing special, almost no school spirit. There was little to no diversity. Some of the staff did show genuine concern for there students and a love for teaching."

"It is an okay school, but some teachers do not prepare you and many students are allowed to do whatever they want."

"OCHS in my opinion is one of the best high schools in Oldham county because it has a; Great Band, decent sports and sport options, plenty of elective classes that could lead to professions and great teachers. There may be a few downsides like the cafeteria lunch food and some locker placement, but I'm happy I've gone to OC for my High school education."
