"Most teachers, especially those teaching AP or Honors courses, are very devoted to what they do in the classroom and are passionate and knowledgeable about the topics. They are always willing to come in early or stay late to help students with course material, especially during exam or AP testing time. The grading is very consistent, with the only variation being slight differences in how weighted homework and quizzes are. Many of them use traditional lecture style or PowerPoints to teach, but groupwork and seminar-style discussions are also common. Some teachers do small class-wide surveys or "talk-back slips" to get student feedback on lessons and teaching styles. There are a few teachers that don't seem very interested in what they teach and who do not express a great deal of interest in the progress of their students, but they are still knowledgeable about the subjects and teach well."

"The school, along with two others in the county, has an Early College and Career Center that allows students to take dual credit courses in subjects such as engineering and science and allows them to achieve certifications in areas such as welding, phlebotomy, and nursing for free. It's a good experience to be able to prepare for a career by taking affordable classes while still going to high school. However, the school does not have a diverse group of well-supported clubs, with most of its money for such things going to the sports teams. It's extremely difficult to get approval for fundraising, so academic clubs such as HOSA and Beta are frequently short of funds and must charge students for entry into the club. This in turn makes it difficult for students to join the clubs."

"The teachers overall are great. They teach to your abilities and go one on one if you still need help. They have busy lives outside of school, but still make time for you because your education is their priority as a teacher. They take the time to learn you individually so they can use your intrests in lessons."

"This school is nice it gives you plenty of choices for future careers. There's nothing I would really change about the school besides the foreign language department it only give you two choices and one of them isn't a worldwide language. Another thing is the homecoming court isn't its best and that dances are never held for them which takes the fun out of the high school dream. Though the best part about this school is that its very diverse it has people from just about everywhere and every race. My favorite experience from the school is the pep rallies and how each grade level becomes so rowdy to win the spirit stick and as a school we sing the school loud and proud."

"While attending North Hardin High School, I feel like I have had to full high school experience. I have attend and been involved in many of the sporting events. I was a member of the pep club, Spanish club, and national honors society. But what made my experience so much more better at NHHS was being a part of their marching band. Our marching band is nationally known and it was so much fun putting all my time and effort into such an amazing program. My best memory of high school would be traveling to New York with my teammates to march in the Macy's Day parade."
