"I loved the sense of community at duPont Manual High School. I never felt alone in my academic struggles or in my periods of sleep deprivation."

"Manual's status is definitely well-deserved. The students are extremely dedicated, and nearly all college bound. The school's culture is competitive, but everyone is very open-minded and accepting of all students. However, the resources the school has are subpar for the amazing work that happens within those walls. Many classrooms only have chalkboards and have paint peeling off the walls, old desks, and old furniture. The students and faculty deserve much better. Despite these challenges though, the student body has still done some amazing things! I would recommend that anyone come to Manual and promise they will come out a more educated and more accepting person."

"I love most everything about my high school. It is the best school in the county, and top 20 in the nation. The school provides rigorous courses, that prepare us for college. The principle takes the time to know every one of his students. He is involved in the decisions that the students make, but he allows them to take lead on projects. He makes sure the environment we are in, is loving, safe, and supportive. There are a wide variety of classes to take, that are specific to your needs and your future career choice. The school offers Math, Science, and Technology (MST), Journalism and Communication (J&C), Visual Arts (VA), High School University (HSU), and Youth Performing Arts School (YPAS). YPAS includes: Band, Orchestra, Theatre, Musical Theatre, Dance, and Guitar."

"Manual is the perfect place for a student who seeks opportunities to dabble! Through the magnet program, Manual offers classes that make exploration accessible for every student wether they are studying drama or math and science. This school provides a unique experience that prepares students for college and beyond. I am so lucky I got to go to DuPont Manual High School."

"I've only been at Manual for a year, but it has been the best year of my life. Manual has wonderful teachers and staff who genuinely care about helping their students succeed. There is quite a bit of pressure to do well here, but I have found it to be very rewarding. There are plenty of extracurriculars to get involved in as well. Overall, it is a wonderful place to be!"
