"The teachers here at Breathitt County High School teach good, and if you need further explanation they will sometimes give it to you. Then again we have some teachers that just do what they can to get by with. Some just give you a work sheet and tell you to do it."

"I have been active in this school since I was little as my parents work for the school system. Over the years, I have had many fun experiences in this school and have seen what it has been like each year. Although I have enjoyed it as a high school student these past four years, I have seen the school slowly decline and get worse each year. Through the various new policies and the lack of effective administration, the school as a whole has become a much lower caliber than what it once was. Even though the experience has not been ideal, it has made for an interesting one."

"The teachers on average provide students with the required curriculum and allow them to learn these topics in various ways, but they do not go out of their way to go above and beyond and teach students different things that are not part of the required curriculum. Teachers do not go above and beyond to make sure students are well-rounded for their future lives either in college or out in the real world."
