"Ohio County High School was the best I could have made from it. The most memorable thing from school were the teachers. They knew high school could be rough sometimes, and weren't afraid to show you that they always had an ear open to listen to your problems. They made the boring times bearable and i will always be grateful for the time they gave to me."

"As most schools go, some teachers truely care about the students and their education, while others seem to be here to complain about their low paying position. The school could stand to be cleaned more thoroughly, but it's not unsanitary to the point of spreading illnesses. All around, OCHS isn't a terrible school. It's even currently rated as distinguished."

"First of all, let me say this is the only high school I've ever attended. That's a good thing. This school has been what I thought has been the perfect high school experience. Throughout my four years here I have come to know almost the entire staff. Not to mention my entire class. The school is unlike that of high schools seen in movies and TV shows in that it has no cliques, no bullies, or no mean teachers. Everything at this school just works perfectly like one big happy family."

"Most of the teachers here are nice here with the exception of a few. However, most will only connect with you as a student if you are an athlete. This school's main focus has been on sports, not really seeming to care about the arts. Being someone who loves the arts side of education, I don't like that about this school. I expressed my concerns about this and nothing ever happened. I am also on home bound as of now during my senior year and while some teachers were caring about my condition, some didn't really try to help me keep up in my classes. As a result of this, I was forced to go to online schooling and drop my classes. The guidance counselors don't work with me and can be rude at times. They aren't informed and seem to not care for me very much. This being a small country high school you would think that this would be different however it's not. And the student body isn't very nice to quiet people unless you are an athlete."

"The "Career Path" thing only has a handful of options and forces you to put yourself into a box; the only one I ever fit was the "Art" path, and they removed it the year that I arrived. This year with schedules, they only allowed us the first real week to change things. There aren't many fun electives. Most teachers try to help as much as they can, but I think they're dragged down by kids who won't do anything."
