"Hancock county acedemics are great. They challenge students every day and make us strive to become better for the future. Hancock county high school prepares every student for college. Many students are involved with at least one club or activity, which is great. One thing we don't have much of is diversity. I do believe hancock county does a good job of trying to expose us to different cultures and ways of living. We may not be diverse in culture but we are diverse in activities and sports that students are involved in. All around hancock county is a positive, safe environment and I would recommend this school to anyone striving to become the best they can. It is a small school but offers a lot. My experience here has been great, I would rate it 5 stars."

"Some teachers go above and beyond to make sure students get the education they need. Other teachers come in work and go home."

"The best part about attending Hancock County High was the student ratio. It is alot easier to attend a school where the graduating class has 100 student to where some of the bigger high schools have 1000 students. However if I were able to choose a school to graduate from I would definitely make the decision based on how active the school is in furthering their graduates education. I dont feel i got that at the school I graduated from."

"I feel the teachers need to take more time preparing students for the next step after high school. The Children that are moving on to the next level of education are struggling. I feel I was not properly prepared for college. For this reason I have chosen to go into the education field so I can help make this happen."
