"Great staff. Students are a pleasure to work with and the Marching Band is the absolute best. I live that the school also has organizations such as Dawgs for Christ. The choir and band both are well organized for the kids. Teachers really care about the kids. Parent involvement is not complicated and the administration listens."

"Grove City is like a big family. We all look out for each other and we want the best for all of our classmates."

"I am a senior in the top 10% of my class, and this has been my experience. GCHS is fortunate to have many good teachers who care about their students (although if they're bad, they're BAD) and a fairly broad variety of advanced and AP courses to take. There are many good clubs to join, like In the Know, NHS, foreign language clubs, and Dawgs for Christ. However, the school building is outdated and grossly overcrowded. The hallways always feel grimey, and I've never had a school lunch because they simply don't look healthy at all. The attendance office and administration are fickle and unreasonable, and sometimes seem to be on an endless power trip, yelling at students for seemingly no reason (for things like standing @ lunch)I was once marked absent by an attendance lady for being 3 minutes late due to a doctor's appt., even though I had a doctor's excuse and was standing right in front of her. I've noticed apathy, negativity, and pessimism among the student body and even the teachers"

"There were many teachers at Grove City who were supportive and caring about my education and future."

"The teachers within the school, overall, are very supportive and helpful;however, as in most schools, not all teachers are the best. My school is very undiverse, with over 90% being white students, so I feel that my time at Grove City High School was very sheltered and undiverse, which is why I am very excited to go to a larger, diverse university. My high school seemed to care about numbers, more than the actual students within the school, which showed through the large amount of testing we had to take. Overall, I had a good experience at Grove City High School, but would improve many things about my high school time."
