"Hamilton Heights High School allowed me to express myself and become a well-rounded individual by providing unique opportunities in and out of the classroom. At this school I was able to connect with a small community and was provided excellent opportunities for advancement and connection through extra-curricular activities and academic activities."

"Ever since I was a small child I have loved a challenge. This school has very challenging classes along with very helpful teachers. This mix has enabled me to experience these tougher courses with some help along side of me. The school staff genuinely care about their students and want to see us happy and healthy. Our staff is highly against bullying, and I can say that I have never experienced any physical violence, let alone SEEN any physical violence at Hamilton Heights High School. There will always be mean people that you encounter throughout life, but the staff make sure to put an end to any kind of bullying that they hear about. I love being at a smaller school because I have been able to partake in so many sports and organizations without having to choose just one. Our school allows football players to partake in soccer, and band kids to do basketball. This has given everyone the opportunity to explore our interests without having the pressure of specializing in just one thing."

"The teachers are very approachable and make sure that students get the help they need. Our school has set up "study tables" where teachers stay after school to help struggling students. We also have an SRT time between third and fourth period that lasts around 27 minutes, where students can go to teachers for homework help and questions. They are very knowledgable and can help us on multiple subjects, including the one they teach. My pre-calculus teacher has helped me with my Ivy Tech Spanish 3 homework."

"I like the fact that I can get personal attention from teachers if I need it, but I feel as if I might be missing out on things that students at larger schools may experience."
