"What I really like about Carmel High School is the opportunities that it has given me. Carmel High School has encouraged me to attend college and want to take advantage of what my future may offer me. There's so many opportunities to get involved and I think that if I didn't go to Carmel High School, I don't know if I would want to pursue what I want to pursue."

"I just finished my first year at Carmel and it is a pretty good school. I loved almost every class I took and am always impressed by the amount of classes available, even for freshmen. The key to the school is just getting involved, which at a huge school like this can seem kind of daunting. It is easy to get lost in the numbers and never find your way. However there is truly a place for everyone at Carmel because thanks to the massive size you are bound to find something that you love."

"CHS offers a lot of opportunities for students to pursue what they chose. However, administration does tend to focus on results only, rather than how they are achieved. Therefore, especially in STEM classes, students may feel abandoned or unsupported. That being said, the community as a whole is very success-driven and individual teachers prove to be outstanding at their jobs. There's a very strong sense of school spirit as well, and in such a large school, students are guaranteed to find a place to fit in."

"Great school. Very large, which some people might fear the wont feel as welcome but just the opposite! Many different people ready to welcome you however you are. Hardworking school and student, all wanting to push you for success. Great school spirit as well, football games are always a hype."

"Very big school; offers a lot of opportunities for students to be involved. Courses are difficult but the level of difficulty prepares you for college. Offers almost all the AP courses. Very competitive in sports and music (band/orchestra). Usually claims first place in everything."
