"Many things have changed over the last four years, new principal, new improvements to the school, a new patio for the students at lunch, new vending machines, new siding on the school, and many other things that have improved over my years there. I have had a very good high school career from the teachers and staff's influences in my life. I thank them for who I am today."

"The school was not diverse at all, which made it a little hard for the outsiders to fit in. Extra-curricular activities were directed towards specific people and the segregation between the rich and poor was very noticeable. The teachers were very helpful and nice mostly. I did not have any trouble with teachers. The school building was fine; not very modern nor very old. However, there were no windows in the classrooms which was a little depressing. Overall, I had a good experience in the high school and enjoyed the two years I spent there, but there are certain things the administration, students, and teachers definitely still need to work on."

"I would like to see change in Martinsville High School. My first year was the best. After that we got a new principal with very olden day ideas on things that I don't see many people able to appreciate. Until this school has change it is a long journey for students incoming and continuing education."

"Overall a great school. School help prepare children for college or their future plans. School board could use some help. School is safe. Could offer more choices of after school programs and activities."

"I've enjoyed all the staff during my high school experience. The staff shows their compassion toward their students everyday. The school has tried furthering our technology experiences with Chrome Books. They have started cracking on behavior and fights properly."
