"The school is overall okay and the building is great but the school itself doesn't really help the academically right, they focus on our failing sport teams that have no chance now that we are in the large school division. The administration doesn't really understand the students and their decisions for school spirit never work and they focus on the sports more than actually having an academically successful and organized school."

"Plainfield High School has given me every opportunity to excel in academics and recognize my potential. I feel that every teacher wants to see their students succeed. It encourages me to do my best when I know I have a support system to help guide me along the way. Even the administrators demonstrate their school spirit with social media pages, community involvement, and student appreciation. They take the time to learn students' names and say hello in the hallway, even if they're in a rush. While the school isn't extremely diverse, it makes up for it with Foreign Language clubs and hosting many foreign exchange students. Plainfield, itself, is not a very diverse town, so it is hard to represent different cultures in the school system. I think the rigor of our college level classes help us prepare for college, but we still feel like we don't know what we're doing when it comes to picking colleges or applying. That is something I would like to see change in the future."

"Plainfield has such wonderful teachers they are committed to helping you learn & better your education & yourself. The teachers go above and beyond, there are a huge number of events/programs for kids to enjoy/stay out of trouble, and they push a high level of education and morals. Our new school is beautiful. I love going here. Classes are so much fun and there is a lot of school spirit. At Plainfield you get the experience of a good education and a fun atmosphere."

"I have enjoyed PHS because of the friends and teachers I have had through the 4 years of high school. I have created deep relationship with my tennis teammates and my classmates. I felt very safe and my classes were always fun!"

"I really liked the amount of clubs and sports I could go into. They also had a variety of subjects that I could go into, like Earth and Space Science. However, they do need to change how they deal with lunch. I miss the days where food vendors would come in and sell their wares, like Chick-Fil-A or Panda Express. I also wish that they could expand their library, as it is kind of stagnant with how many new books come in per month."
