"I loved my peers and the Chatard environment. The teachers were very helpful and gave ample time outside of class to help with course content. The administration could have had a better sense of humor. I loved all the extracurricular activities I was able to participate in especially football and the talent show."

"I loved the atmosphere and the high standards we were held to being in a private catholic school. Everyone was always so accepting of one another no matter how different each person was. The faculty made personal connections with every student and truly cared about where we were headed with our futures. Chatard was my home away from home where I knew people truly cared about my well being. I wouldn't change a thing, okay maybe to bring back the old chocolate chip cookies in the cafeteria! I can tell you that my children will be attending Bishop Chatard because I want them to have an experience like mine where you are proud every day to get to say where you went to high school. Being in college only a few hours away from my high school, it is an honor that when you say Bishop Chatard people recognize the name and the wonderful reputation this school has within the community."

"I loved how Chatard felt like a community. It was a home for me. I enjoyed going to school. The teachers worked so hard for you to succeed. I loved spending my Friday nights at football games with my friends, screaming and losing our voices. I formed bonds with fellow classmates on my sports teams."

"The community of Bishop Chatard was what stood out to me and made me proud to be a BCHS graduate. The teachers and faculty really care about the students. I think it's a great school to get a well rounded education, but I will say that as a smaller school it does lack some of the more specific upper level courses that you would see in a bigger public school. They do have their fair share of AP classes, such as in the science, history, and math departments, but they are lacking world language diversity as they only have Spanish and Latin classes after recently ending their French program."

"Bishop Chatard has an incredible family-based community. The staff and faculty truly care about each and every student. Sometimes this means that they will go above and beyond to work with specific students one-on-one to make sure they get the help they need to graduate. Some sports/clubs are definitely valued over others, but this polarization of have/have nots has diminished over time, and continues to do so."
