"I've been knowing most of my teachers for about 4 years now so we are basically family."

"Most kids have been here since middle school together."

"The experiences I have had at this high school were incredible. The teachers and faculty were almost always involved with the students and related to the students often. They strove to make school a good experience while at the same time, not making it simple and laid-back. I have fond memories of a currently retired teacher who taught Humanities at the school. She wanted to give us a taste of college life while at the same time not overwhelming us. She wanted everyone to succeed and she helped those who struggled. The only major downside to this school is the administration. The school is far underpaid and the quality of the lessons, textbooks, and materials for the magnet program was lowered due to that. Its a school that deserves so much more than it gets. If only that issue could be fixed, I would always recommend this over any high school in the Indianapolis area. However, I do believe it is the best public school by far, and any student would be enjoy their time in the school if they choose to be involved."

"Most of the teachers my senior year are very helpful and have my best interest. but a lot of the middle school teachers and underclassmen teachers allow their students to do whatever and they could care less if the student passes or even be in their class the next semester."

"Every teacher at Broad Ripple genuinely cares for each student. The teachers always make themselves available to us whether we need them for school or personal reasons. They adjust their teaching methods to our needs to accommodate our way of learning and encourage us to participate in class. The teachers are very clear with how we are graded, what we are graded on, and how much it could affect our grade as well."
