"The AP teachers are the ones who understand best why standardized tests are not good for students and they make sure to connect with and help their students."

"There are the usual challenges with diversity, as in: the white kids make prejudiced jokes and get upset when people don't see "it's just a joke." You really have to look for certain people if you want to feel respected and you're not a straight white abled boy."

"The teachers at Concord Community High School are very willing to do whatever it takes to help out their students. They like to use real life examples to help us learn the benefits from their teaching. Some teaching styles that teachers use are having the students get into groups of four people to work on projects, etc. Some teachers like to be a little comical towards and/ or with the students. Some teachers relate to when they were in high school and a lot has changed. Teachers like to tell students that they have an actual life outside of teaching students. Some teachers stay after school hours for at least 30 minutes. They do that so their students can come in to get extra help on homework, to retake tests, or to have study sessions with them."

"My overall experience so far at this school is that there isn't really a limit on how involved you can be at my school. My favorite experiences so far at Concord Community High School are being apart of a state finalist marching band and being involved in student council. This school is unique because you can do sports and marching band at the same time. I would choose the school again if I could do it all over because you can be apart multiple things as long as you maintain good grades."

"I would not go to this school again because some of the PE teachers are rude, misogynistic, occasionally racist, and make fun of fat or kids who are not athletic. Additionally, high school over all is a anxiety-inducing experience. My favorite experiences have been participating in the fall play and the Academic Super Bowl teams."
