"Our school offers so many opportunities. It offers the students to be able to express themselves and have fun but get a great education as well"

"I have found that the parents in my circle of friends are definitely involved, care about the success of each other as well as being involved in athletics and school functions. My parent and most I know are very respectful and supportive of the teacher and coaching staff as well as our principal, athletic director and superintendent. I am aware that not all kids are as lucky as myself and there are some parents that only care about the well being of their own child at the expense of anyone in his/her way. I have learned that these parents and students create unnecessary conflicts and I prefer to steer clear of these types of people. Because of the small community I live in most the parents and school staff do everything possible to create a positive experience for all and try to minimize unneeded conflict. Haley Strombeck"

"For the most part the Social Scene at Wapahani High School is a positive and supportive atmosphere. The families know each other and share in achievements as well as disappointments. There is normal drama on social media but it is avoidable if you wish and generally gets derailed fairly quickly as parents and school staff become aware of anything excessive. Our area is very accepting of all families that are experience financial or behavioral issues. Wapahani has many transfer students and all are welcomed and are given positive influences throughout the student body and teaching staff. We have a small amount of students with different ethic or racial backgrounds but all are treated equally and with respect. The Liberty Perry school systems go above and beyond to educate issues of bullying, peer pressure and social media concerns and are supportive if a situation arises that could snowball into a bigger problem. "Wapahani High School provides three different diploma's and offers all the core classes needed when it comes to English, Math and Science. Until this year Wapahani only offered Spanish but I believe French will become available soon. The school uses Ivy Tech for technical classes during Senior year. Every student has either a study hall or academic lab that assists student with homework or extra assignments. Wapahani has worked hard to maintain competitive music and art classes and a workshop class. Classes are scheduled at the end of the current year for the following year and generally meet each students needs. Homework is excessive for AP classes and very manageable for all other classes. Most teachers will meet with students after school when help is needed but there is a homework study group that any student can participate in at the High School. I can't say that there is anyone class more popular than another at our school. Haley Strombeck"
