"In my personal experience, West Side is a great school. We are very small compared to those around us but we are considered to have better academics. West Side is a two minute walk to Purdue University. Many of the professors of Purdue have their children attend West Side. The academics are great and are great for preparing one for higher learning."

"I felt like as long as you were at the top of the class you were treated well. If you were average or above average, you were ignored even with asking for help. The school is good because of the students, not the administration. The administration have an arrogant attitude toward education. If your child needs help, they do not "think outside of the box." If you question it , you are treated worse with that interaction and afterwards. I will always have a bad taste in my mouth for this school."

"High school was definitely a challenging process, but I am grateful for it. The culture of the school allowed students to strive academically with full support from teachers, classmates, and the community. Not only did were we able to achieve great things academically, but we were also given many opportunities for extracurricular activities and involvement in a broad range of cultural exploration."

"It's an amazing school in a very safe community. Great teachers that teach well and care about students. It's also quite a small school, with less than 1000 students, so it allows for great teacher-student interaction. Everybody is nice to one another and school fights are unheard of in this school. Does a great job of preparing one for college as well. It also provides one with great opportunities for all individuals with a wide range of interests."

"It has provided me with a good education, I think, but the overall stress levels are often high. There are good, well-educated teachers there (for the most part) and they are often helpful. However, more one on one interaction between students, parents, and teachers / administrators would be something that I think would be nice to see."
