"Southmont fully prepared me for the college course load, especially through their excellent Spanish program. It was a great high school to attend."

"Southmont High school provided me with great opportunities to take college level courses. These courses have maximized my potential as a college bound student. I would like to see the school more focused on the students schedules and allowing parents to be more involved. Also, I would like clubs to have more opportunities to be hear and known. I'm a thankful for all the faculty. The majority are willing to help students better understand their studies, as well as help them grow as individuals."

"I know a couple popular classes at South would have to be the Spanish classes, Firefighter\EMS class, and of course the Law enforcement which everyone classed the cop class! Those were and still might be the top 3 classes that everyone wants to do. I took the law enforcement class both my junior and senior year and that's where I met many of my friends and classmates."

"Peer pressure was never really a thing a South while I was there. The people at South usually just took in anyone when it came to having new people. Many of my peers were beyond accepting and never peer pressured you into anything that you didn't want to do."

"I would choose this school to go to if I could start all over again. I only went to Southmont for my last two years of high school and I loved every minute of it. Its hard going from a school with over 800 people in your class to a school with only 99 people in your class. At South it was great meeting new people and getting to know everyone in your class and getting to finally walk across the stage with all of them. I did not have many friends in school but I still talked to a lot of people. People that I never saw myself talking to but I loved it. I still talk to most of them and we've all gone our separate ways. one of my favorite memorizes would have to be when I joined the softball team my junior year. M junior year on the team they took me in like I had been playing with them my entire life. it felt amazing. My senior year was the best all 5 of the seniors came together and made sure we had the best year we could for it being our last year. I can proudly say I loved being a Mountie and will forever cherish what I had with y teammates. I cant thank my coaches enough for pushing to be my best. For telling me I can do it, to make them and my parents proud, to never give up and to always keep going when I wanted to give up. thanks to them, my teammates, and our parents that year is what I had come to love the most."
