"t is my child's first year in this school. it was not easy for her fist report card marking she didn't pass some classes. after talking to the staff we where able to come up with a plan to help her. they where on top of everything and because of their fast acting on helping getting her back on track she will pass like she should. i believe if the kids are showing they want to learn and are willing to work hard the staff in this school will help with whatever they need."

"I am a freshman at Garden City , it gets me down that some of the teacher you can tell , don't want to be there just as much as the students . Don't get me wronge , some are outstanding , but others lack interest."

"Garden city high school is a really good school to go to the basketball program it awesome too. the teaches are not to strict."

"My daughter is soon to be a sophmore & her freshman experience has been much better than I thought it would be. The teachers & staff have been wonderful! The only problem I would say the school has is alot of the kids who have that thug mentality. That's not really nothing against the school, more the parents."

"i am a student here in this school. i find that the administration is faulty, the teachers are either way too strict or way leineint. The drafting program is a case of "way too strict" he needs to start soft and work his way up. the stuff he gives out takes up to three days when he only gives you one. and WWII is way to relaxed (for example). he plays music all day and tells jokes. alot of times the assignment is on the board when you walk in, and he doesnt talk the whole hour. THIS IS MADNESS"
