"What do I love about Summit Academy North High School? Safety precautions are well executed in the school, and if a crisis strikes, everybody will know what to do. The school is clean and very well-cared for. Being someone with autism, I am a special education student. The resources for special education students is immensely helpful at Summit, and it seems to be more sophisticated and elaborate in this assistance than most other schools. The staff is just as diverse as the students, and you get the sense that the teachers genuinely care for you. Summit's a rather small school, so there aren't as many as classes available as there would be if there were 2,000 students, but it makes Summit all the more comfortable, in my opinion. The thing I love the most is the sense of community. Everybody belongs somewhere in the school because of its diverse nature. You can never be alone at Summit."

"Summit Academy North High School is overall an average school. I went there for 13 years (pre-school) so it wasn't all bad. I went through school with the same group of people so it created what felt like a family."

"My experience at Summit Academy North high School was bittersweet. I spent my freshman, sophomore, and junior years at Summit and I'm most likely going to be graduating from there. If they weren't paying for me to be dual enrolled, I would switch to a more promising high school. The school is pretty diverse, but not when it comes to the staff. Several staff members only enforce the school's rules and dress code upon certain "groups" and ethnicities. Still, there's encouragement and reassurance from every representative of Summit Academy and that's one thing I value a lot from my school."

"I have been to Summit Academy my whole life. I love the school so much, but the rules are a little dumb. For example, when it was winter we were allowed outside and when it was spring, we weren't allowed out. Also the dress code is dumb, recently they told us that we weren't allowed to wear bandanas. They also make us pay to wear jeans for $1. Summit Academy is a great school, but changes need to be made."

"When I first began attending Summit in third grade I absolutely loved it. At the school I was attending prior to Summit I never was challenged then when I came to Summit I was. As the years went on things at Summit have been slowly declining though. Honors classes are more homework instead of bec=ing more knowledge. Teachers don't completely care about the students. The students have no interest in learning (minus the small amounts of honors students in each grade). It just really sucks that everything there is slowly going in a downward spiral."
