"This school is mediocre at best. This school barely prepares its students for college at all and many of the teachers put in no effort."

"Lincoln has changed a lot in the years since I have been gone, but it still has a great deal of progress to make. The school itself looks really nice now and it is really cool to see the increase in school spirit. They were always very short on resources and ill-equipped to excel. I always had a lack of pride because it never seemed that anyone cared enough to try and improve the environment. In particular, I remember freshman year I was not placed in an AP class simply because it was full and there was not enough in the budget to create another one. There were always fights and racial issues and the staff never appropriately or effectively dealt with the problems. Again, by the time I graduated it had improved quite a bit and I know it has since I have been gone, but they are not nearly the same caliber as other schools in the area."

"I like how the teachers are actually there to support you and make sure you are on top of your studies before any extra curriculum activities."

"Lincoln can overall be a great school. There are a couple of things that could change. The the student readiness for college and the real world. Some teachers could show they cared a little more about their students. Overall though, our sports teams are pretty good. Our arts programs are phenomenal!"

"The one thing I like about Lincoln High is there are always teachers who are willing to help. They will get there early or stay late to go over materials you didn't understand and give you clarification. If I could improve one thing at Lincoln, it would be school spirit. There are not many students who participate in spirit days. Administration also cuts pep rally times down and has very strict rules on school spirit. I feel that an increase of school spirit could bring our school together more and allow students to have an outlet of the stresses of school."
