"My experience with Avondale High School has been a interesting one to say the least. Avondale used to be a great environment for stunts to strive and reach their full potential. The changes in administration and policies has made it difficult for students to flourish."

"Overall the school system at avondale is not bad. The teachers try their best however many make it obvious that they are here just to collect their pay and leave. In a way many of the students have each others backs but there is constantly some sort of rub in the hallways and around school. Our administration does not truly care about their students and does more harm than good."

"Mostly I feel like this school is fairly decent in its overall conditions but feels like the fun and the environment of people has been lacking that I consider transferring. Mostly I really like all my friends at Avondale but everyone else doesn't act normal in a way or too many try to be like people instead of being their self. Its nice that we still have diversity or some of my classes would act like a dead zone. TBH if there is no change with the principal of Avondale this school would turn into a disaster, and not be fun anymore"

"Originally I would've rated this school a five but the school had deteriorated since my freshman year. Avondale High School used to be an amazingly diverse and organized environment that both staff and students loved to be apart of but due to money the administration would change yearly. New administration meant inexperience which grew with the passing years. The school environment evolved from one where students and staff enjoyed their time here to one where students and staff dreaded being in the building and strongly disliked the administration and the changes they brought with them. Commenting on the staff I believe it has its share of good and bad teachers. I believe we have one of the most amazing English departments filled with staff who want to help you grow and some great math teachers who love what they are doing. I just hope that the school district can recover but I still enjoyed my time here."

"My overall experience at Avondale High School was great, but this had to do mostly with being involved in athletics and my friend group. Academics are okay, there are several AP classes that are very challenging, and you learn a lot in all of the classes. Only about 10% of the teachers actually teach, so you have to be able to learn on your own. It's a very diverse school and everyone feels welcome here. The culture of the school is Avondale's main draw."
