"Many of the students are mean, judgmental and unbearable, as well as their parents. That being said, I've made great friends as well. The football games are overrated and create a social stigma if you don't attend. The school has recently turned into a prison, with very little freedom for students, complete with guards, locked doors, limited bathroom time, cameras, restricted areas, and a complicated entry system. The administration is not making things better. They make stupid decisions, such as only supporting the failing students, and not even touching the thriving and successful students. I would choose this school again, but only because of the teachers and friends I've made. I would expect to receive little to no help, support, or recognition from the administration or the school as a whole. I would need to independently go through high school, which is exactly what I did the last 4 years."

"My favorite experience at this school was during my senior year at one of the first home football games of the year. I used to cheerlead on the sidelines since my freshman year, but I decided I needed a job and to experience the "student section" for the first time with my friends. The first football game I was in the crowd for and not on the sidelines for was better than I have imagined! Teachers, administrators, students and even some locals from town were all coming together to cheer on our well known football team. The school band was playing our theme song, students were jumping up and down in the bleachers and parents were screaming with all their might when the kick off began. There was so much excitement, I could not believe what I was missing out on when I was a cheerleader. I do not regret being one, but I am glad that I got to experience this with my friends, and I also got to meet new friends too that I would have never talked to if I were not on the bleachers. Walled Lake Central has the most fun and spirited student section out of all the Walled Lake Schools. We support each and everyone of the school sports; Students during the football season would travel to where ever the game was, even if it were an hour or two away from our home town, especially seniors. No senior ever missed a game. No one wanted to miss out on making memories or missing out on our team getting the big win! The school spirit was over the top and that is one thing I will not forget about Walled Lake Central."

"The teachers at this school are mostly good. Some teaching styles could be improved, and teachers should grade faster and more efficiently. Many of the teachers are not very knowledgeable and not very smart. Many of the top students are much smarter than the teachers and the teachers don't like that. Very few teachers do not care for their students; most of the teachers take interest in helping their students succeed and do the best they can. Some teachers communication skills are not very good, as they change grades and give unfair tests without proper warning. Most teachers are consistent in grading and if you try hard and are respectful, you will be graded fairly. The overall quality of teachers is good, as there are very few teachers that I had actual problems with."
