"There are not many teachers who really inspire students. Most of them simply teach you enough to cover the curriculum, and don't really challenge you. Not very consistent in teaching styles or grading, some teachers will teach you almost nothing and you pass the class easily, and some will expect a lot from you and an A student will only get a B."

"Quite a few more classes offered since the switch to trimesters, but except for a few, most of the teachers are only ok in their teaching ability."

"Some of the teacher aren't as helpful as they could be. Most of the staff genuinely care about their students and make sure they succeed. Food isn't the best, Sometimes, punishments are either not enough or too much for what the student did."

"The school gives you plenty of opportunity to try new things. Broad range of classes and clubs, and a fairly low student population makes forming friendships easy and fun. The small town comradery that Chesaning has seems to break up cliques that would form in larger schools - everyone knows everyone, and people generally get along very well. I never had a bad teacher while I was there - the staff is very helpful and willing to spend time out of class to ensure that students succeed in their academic endeavors."

"The school is very small, so it comes with all of the problems of a small rural school. But this school does try its best to give students all of the opportunities of a larger school. The school is building a new sports complex and revamping its entire athletic department. The school is also adding many new classes to its list, but is still severely limited compared to larger city schools. Although they only offer three AP classes regularly, there are many online opportunities for classes not offered and the school makes it very easy to take them."
