"Chesaning High School is located in a rural region and therefore has some of the situations associted with small town schools. We recently renovated our building, and it has improved amenities. In the past few years we underwent some administration changes with a new principal, and just this year a new guidance counselor. They are implementing positive changes around the school. Like any other school some teachers are great, and others are not so great. Additionally, in the past few years we made the transition to trimesters giving broader class choices, and more freedom to take various classes in your schedule."

"Hi my name I see Casey Yon I come from a small town named Chesaning. Coming into high school I had lost my mom and ever since I've been on my own with some help from my sisters but they aren't much help when it comes to college. I am a hands on learn who likes to experiment on new things and find new things out of what I do wrong when I mess up."

"I really liked the teachers here. They really cared about each and every student and always made sure to make time for me. I also like that sometimes the teachers would actually be a coach for some of my sports which was nice because you could have an actual relationship with them. I did not like the overall setting and feeling of the school. People are not very nice. Bullying is very tolerated in my personal experience. My brother is gay and when he went here he got bullied so much and nothing was ever done about it. I'm a person who wants equality and happiness. My experience here was not happy or positive. I am so ready to move on and graduate from this school and see what the world has to offer."

"Quite a few more classes offered since the switch to trimesters, but except for a few, most of the teachers are only ok in their teaching ability."

"There are not many teachers who really inspire students. Most of them simply teach you enough to cover the curriculum, and don't really challenge you. Not very consistent in teaching styles or grading, some teachers will teach you almost nothing and you pass the class easily, and some will expect a lot from you and an A student will only get a B."
