"At TAHS, the LGBTQ+ community is supported which is very important to me because i am in that community. There is little to no bullying taking place in the past couple of years. The staff at the school show a genuine interest in the well being of the students"

"Tawas Area High School has left a lasting impression on my life. They have very amazing and talents teachers at this school. The teachers do a great job connecting with the students and actually caring. They also give a large spand of classes at this school. Not only classes, but lots of opportunities to get involved in clubs, sports, choir, and band also. They truly have helped me to grow into who I am. Since we are human, yes there is somethings that should be changed. Also, I feel as if our school maybe picks favorites. We have a band against certain clothing pieces, but some people still wear them and get away with it no problem. Although that is frustrating, it is an amazing high school and I recommend anyone in the area to attend. I have memories there I will never forget."

"I learned a lot from high school. I made several friends that showed me different aspects of their life. Teachers there helped me while others not so much, but it taught me that you go with what you know and try to figure things out on your own. What I want to see change is the art department. There barely is one anymore. The theater department is gone to make room for sports mostly football and baseball. If there was more funding for the art department, it would allow students to expand their creative mind. The lunch needs to go back to the way it was before the whole health kick. High schoolers are old enough to make decisions on what they want to eat by themselves. Nobody needs to tell them."

"I liked how the teachers are nice, we got Chromebooks to do our work in, and the new office and library for my last year in this school. I would like to see changes in the hallway because people bump into the three way part of the school."

"I liked how most of the teachers taught and how the student's interacted with each other but I didn't like how slow some responses were to issues with other students, if those responses were faster my experience would have been better."
