"Over my past four years at St. Louis High School, there has only been about one or two teachers that I felt did not take an interest in my learning ability or progress in or outside of the classroom. The teachers here genuinely care about the students here. I think a lot of it has to do with this school being so small and everyone knowing everyone. This way, everyone succeeds and is a part of something here at SLHS."

"St. Louis is a small town, so the best thing about growing up here and going to this school, it's like having 100 other brothers and sisters. I have grown up in the same classes as the kids with the lockers next to mine. It may seem weird to others, but I like being able to look in the photo albums in my mother's closet and seeing that boy with finger paint on his face is the same boy now dating my best friend. It's a close net community and the experiences every student lives gets to be shared with the other students around you who lived them too. My school is unique in this way because the people I have known for my entire life are the same ones that get to walk with me at graduation."

"I've gone to St. Louis schools all my life, from kindergarten to currently being a junior in high school. The shark pride is everywhere, our school mascot is a shark, which is awesome. The staff and teacher's are great and willing to help you out. One of my favorite experiences so far, was winning at States for division 4 on the girls varsity bowling team. It was my first year on varsity and it was the first time the girls team had ever made it to states. It was an incredible experience, to accomplish that as a team and I'll never forget my teammates."

"I Love my school. The teachers and staff all try and help the students with anything and everything. It is a small school, but that makes it easier for the staff to target the students that need the most help."

"I love my school. I'm so honored to be a Shark. I've made so many great friends and have so many memories. Although it is a small school where everyone knows everyone, there are so many great people to meet-- teacher's too! I know a lot of kids that have graduated that still keep in touch with previous teachers because of the impact they made on the student's life. There are many classes to take, more than people realize, and also many clubs and sports to do. This school has taught me that you may find the perfect club or sport for you and you didn't even expect to like it. I would definitely choose to go to this school again if given the opportunity."
