"Williamston High School has some great staff, not the best of the best, but quite close. Because it is such a small school most students have every teacher at least once (usually). Some teachers are better than others but most of the teachers are friendly and have had a great education, and they keep building on that initial education. Some teachers do have favorites, but it's not overshadowing enough to matter. Most teachers, especially recently, have been incorporating more on your own learning and technology into the classroom. Teachers rent out the classroom sets of chrome books more and more often. However this is not always for the best as some students prefer the lecture style. Williamston High School still has plenty of those lecture type of teachers though. Overall most teachers incorporate a multitude of teaching styles, including lecture style, projects, research, essays, worksheets, textbook readings and much more. Because of the wide variety of teaching styles in one classroom almost all students are accommodated."

"I would choose this school again because of it's great academic reputation and friendly learning environment. Most students hold themselves to a higher standard and even the substitutes usually have something new to offer the students. Bullying is taken seriously here and it's easy for students to get involved. Student organizations are a great part of Williamston High School. Not only is it easy to join a club or sport but people are very welcoming once you join. People within whichever club or sport usually become very close. I've visited other schools and see the standard they hold their students to; it is certainly not the same as Williamston. A good ACT score at Williamston would be higher than a 26 I would say. At a school I recently visited a high score there was a 23; average for the nation."

"There is no small town feel here, it is more like "find your competition and keep them down" type of attitude. Every school has cliches and bad eggs, but this is a whole other level. If one person is mad at you, they get everyone else to turn against you because this school is full of followers. In previous years they have voted people on court as a joke and faculty does nothing for your safety and comfort unless you are an athlete that brings attention to the school."

"I go to Williamston High School and I absolutely love it! There are so many things to be involved in (I accidentally looked at the spectrum the wrong way on the first page, so that page is super off for the survey!). I am in seven extra-curricular activities and it is still easy to get all of my homework done on time. I have a 4.0 because the teachers are awesome! They know how to balance between lectures and notes, videos, hands-on activities, and worksheets. Everyone is very kind. I love that the school has less than 700 kids because I feel like I know everyone. It is a small school and really feels like home. There aren't too many rules, but the ones we have are well-enforced. I enjoy and look forward to school each day. I never feel stressed or worried about getting good grades because I know my teachers will prepare me for tests and the future. I love my school."

"The math and science academy is a joke. Not worth joining."
