"The academics offered at this school are basic. There is not a wide variety of classes offered. We usually do the bare minimum of classes, and the electives are usually dumb."

"At Montabella, we are a very unique small community. Our whole high school is made up of about 350 students. My favorite experiences at this school are homecoming games and other sporting events. We have average turnouts, but students sections always pump up the teams that are playing and we bond as a community at these events. If I could do high school over again, I think that I would like to attend another school. It's not that my school is terrible, we just do not have as many opportunities as other schools because we are so small and lack funds to support clubs and organizations for students."

"Being a small school, I feel as if we have a wide variety of subjects available to us, and the staff that teaches each class is very knowledgeable in those different classes.I have not had a problem taking a class that I needed to or wanted to, and the scheduling process has always been fairly easy. If anyone were to need help, we offer tutoring after school 2 days a week."

"At Montabella Junior/Senior High School I have always had a great time while learning. Many of the teachers make learning fun, and are very willing to participate in many events and fundraisers. I feel very excepted and comfortable in the environment."

"At my school, some teachers engage students in the classroom with fun activities, while others do not. Some of their teaching styles are not the best for students to learn. Some care about students and others could care less. Sometimes they do not communicate well with students and yell or raise their voices in a negative way that puts students down. I think all the teachers try to be good teachers, but they need some coaching or help to give students the opportunities they deserve in order to achieve their goals."
