"Being able to connect with teachers at a personal level is one favorite of mine. The uniqueness of my high school is that it is a massive three story building that was built around the 1920's and we still use it today. However, the heating and lunch or the worst things that I had to experience on a daily basis. I have also feel that I was not well prepared for the ACT because of the fact that bigger schools offer ACT prep classes and only one teacher actually contributed to helping prepare us students. Scholarships are another key factor that my school has done little to inform or help students finding or applying for them. I would most likely still attend this school if I had the choice because of my friends, teammates, and the athletics."

"I hated high school. And ever since I graduated the school system has just been going down the toilet."

"In Newberry High School there are a lot of "average" teachers, but then there are teachers: such as Mr. Puckett and Mr. Griffis, that go above and beyond for their students. Our "average" teachers only teach us what we need to know, the bare minimum, which isn't a bad thing but the "super teachers" teach you everything you need to know, a little extra, and some life lessons along the way."
