"Nice feeling here but academics are average to poor and the emphasis is too much on sports and not enough on academics."

"Teachers are very friendly, but many have a difficult time enforcing deadlines and keeping kids focused on school work. Our science department has made a big step forward this year but our math instructors are not as knowledgeable as need be and our English department has struggled with teacher retention. In fact, we are one teacher short this year in the English Department."

"The school is small, but that means there are more opportunities for all. In a large school, you would have to try out for a sports team and in a small school you're guaranteed a spot on the roster. The teachers know all the students and are very willing to help students."

"The school is small and other than select teachers, many of them are not interested in pushing students. Many of the best teachers I had left the school due to poor administration and teachers I know very well and keep in contact with were not given exiting interviews and the school board was told by the superintendent that they "couldn't keep up with technology". One of these teachers is now an online teacher and two of the three teachers have been teaching for over two years. Poor and uncaring administration affects teachers and has decreased the amount of learning in the school. Friends of mine who graduated a year and two years after me have said they spend many class periods playing games on the computer, but didn't miss anything that was taught. These are very intelligent people who are both attending higher education and succeeding in their own endeavors. Their success was based more on family support and natural talent that the education they received."

"I love all the opportunities that come with a small school. You know everybody in the entire school. Most of the teachers are good. The building is a little run down, but they're building a new school."
