"John Muir is a great school. I've been there just 2 years of my school years. There is many activities that have grown that you/your child may participate in. I am very pleased to say I was a student there. Great school and everything, so much great things. Towards the end of each school year, every grade level always celebrated something fun. 8th grader, depending how their maturity, go to Wisconsin Dells, 7th Grader go to the Aquatic Center, it's just for them no public. &Lastly, the 6th grader go have fun Swimming and the Boys&Girls Club. John Muir has excellent hard-working teachers who are willing to put their time and effort everyday to make your child/you a better person. Since over the years the school has developed to create more programs for students. Such as High Math Classes, Science Classes, and Reading/English Classes. John Muir in many ways has changed me, shape me to be who I am today. The staff there are so loving and understanding, they always will listen to you or what you have to say. If you have an idea, tell the teacher! They are willing to make things happen. "The sun shines not only on us but in us." John Muir -Highlanders. Great things about this school."

"This year there is a new principal so the jury is still out on how he will lead the school and what kind of environment he will create. We have now been a part of the school for 3 years. Under the previous leadership I was very pleased with the school environment. There are many opportunities for involvement and a high standard of expectation. I am pleased with the enriched curriculum they have with English and Math, however, I have been disappointed that a similar program is not offered for science. The variety of music programs offered is remarkable. Outside of it's regular band and choir the school offers a pop jazz choir and a jazz band. Students can participate in State music honors, participate in 'Sing Wisconsin' and participate in a statewide solo ensemble. The teachers are committed and work hard to make it a great school."
