"Fond du lac has great teachers who want to teach and enjoy kids, the previous principle was not great at running the school and it created chaos."

"Most of the teachers I have had really do care and put a lot of effort into their job, but I have had a few who just sit back and let the students do worksheets. The school has a great music program and offers many opportunities for the kids who are involved, especially band. There are quite a few after school activities and clubs that any student can be involved in, and there are a lot of sports opportunities. Sometimes I feel like the administration and staff focus on the sports games and activities more than other programs they have, like art or music. The way the staff handles bullying and harassment is usually quite effective, especially compared to other schools, but there are some times when things don't work out. Overall, Fond du Lac High School is a good school that offers many opportunities and has mostly awesome staff members."

"The school has much that's left to be desired. The administration makes poor decisions to help students; it's all left up to the teachers. Honestly, only some of the teachers seem to care about their jobs and the students. The principal doesn't really care about the students and is just in the position for a power boost. However, as mentioned before, what really makes this school semi-worth it is the teachers. There are a few that really care about their students and their successes. Those teachers will go out of their way to help their students do well and understand the course material. Those teachers will make a connection with their students, and go out of their way to make their students feel comfortable and valued. The teachers make up for the administration and the lack of funding all programs besides the athletic teams receive."

"Fond du Lac high school is filled with about 2,100 students and it's an excellent place to be. It is filled with so many different classes, clubs, and sports. I'd say the only problem with the school is the grading system. It is meant to equal everyone out but in reality it only makes the better students get worse grades. It's a lot harder to get your grade up once its down because you have to go through a retake process that requires many days and forms. Many students believe the process is ridiculous and only takes away from the study hall period we all have. Overall the School is great if you want your child to get as many opportunities as they deserve."

"About 2,000 in school population. They do well in most sports, football was the top sport. It's also newly built school compared to others, and the auditorium is great. I transferred here during my sophomore year and I already noticed how spoiled some of the students are. Coming from a school that doesn't offer the greatest food, this school actually have really nice variety and quality, though students here don't appreciate it--at all. Administration should improve in many ways. I noticed some teachers don't have any say in things, which is understandable; but they should be able to express their thoughts on certain things. The school should push students to challenge themselves more. Many students that I know of is trying to graduate only with the minimum requirements. Overall, this school is a pretty average high school, lacking in some areas but does well in others. Students that are proactive (educationally) and hard working will do well here."
