"What I love about Cambridge-Isanti is that everyone seems to be so sweet and connected. There's nothing that really needs improvement."

"I think the high school is okay. It could be better in some aspects but it could definitely be a lot worse. Overall, I think that its a good town to grow up in and the small environment in the schools makes it easy for students to get to know their peers and teachers."

"The Vice principles are terrible at their jobs and strictly enforce a dress code which they constantly break themselves. The Transportation department cannot seem to keep its drivers in line and they constantly harass the students on a daily basis, pulling them from an education that they are supposed to be transporting to with false reports that get kids pulled from class for no reason at all. The rodent problem is terrible. Just a couple weeks ago the halls were covered in rodents and it was all over snapchat, not to mention the kids vaping and smoking weed in the bathrooms. This school could definitely do a better job in all areas. Money is just thrown at the sports programs, not at the programs that students can use to help themselves succeed in gaining skills necessary for life in the 21st century, from the Robotics team( Go 5464),to Mock trial and Model UN. The school board needs t learn to manage its resources better."

"The High School has a nice gym and a fairly good building. It has a problem with heating and cooling, something was messed up when they built it so many rooms are freezing and jackets are allowed, others are extremely hot. Many rooms next to each other were in those two extremes, which made it an annoyance. The people here are nice, the faculty are a bit bias. The coaches for many sports teams would rather be elsewhere than coaching us how to play a sport. Many kids quit a sport over the school year. Not all people are like this but many are. Overall, my experience here has been less than exciting."

"The school itself is a decent school. The teachers and staff seem to care about the students. The library there is decent. The school food itself is something that could use improvement. It has very little flavor to it. The smart students can do PSEO in their junior and senior years of high school. This allows for them to attend a local college (most go to Anoka-Ramsey Community College) to obtain college credit towards a degree. It is a great way to knock out most of your gen eds. Overall, CIHS is not that bad."
