"Shattuck is a great school, especially for kids who are interested in one of their "centers of excellence." Even though they are well-known for their hockey program (which truly is of the highest quality), they also have excellent programs in bioscience, engineering, and performing arts as well as other sports."

"Blended programs, center of excellence, I love all those, but however I do not like the atmosphere. When I first visited, I said I won't come here because of the feeling of segregation between athletes and those who aren't. It is very segregated that nobody thinks it is wrong, and teachers do not do much about it. They totally know that foreign exchange students who aren't engaged in sports are treated as 'minority' between students I'm sure, but even the teachers are so used to it that they don't do much about it unless it pops up on surface like black and white. Except for the feeling of segregation, it is great school with great programs that will help me in the future. Some COE needs better faculty, since the director do not do the job right, but the students has to do a job for that person such as setting up transportation and scheduling, buying stuff that we need."
