"Normal high school experience. School is school. It wasn't to bad, but it wasn't super great. Offers a lot of AP and CIS classes that took to earn a lot of college credit. Parking isn't in the best condition and sports teams aren't the best."

"Forest Lake High school is a great environment. Since its a small town everyone is on a first name basis. There are great connections here between staff and kids."

"Forest Lake High School is nice enough. We have excellent STEM teachers who make class interesting. Our building is old and looks it, but we are getting a new addition and updated spaces to fix the problem. There is a lot of opportunities for college credit classes with AP, CIS (College In the Schools through the U of M), and flexibility with part-time PSEO. Student population is not very diverse, nearly everyone is caucasian. I think there is quite a lot of choices with our clubs and activities. Food is about as good any other high school lunch, not amazing. Administration is very helpful and actually take an interest in what the students want. Parent involvement is limited, except in sports. Individual sports do really well, but our team sports are mediocre and football is struggling. My favorite part has definitely been my AP teachers who are very helpful and ready to explain anything or work insane hours to make sure we are getting a quality education."

"Ok school. Teachers help when you seek help. Office Staff isn't as helpful as they should be. Plenty of different clubs, sports and other activities for students to join. Teachers will help if you ask for it and show that you are trying. Obviously you need to work hard but if you're struggling, the teachers will be glad to help. Deans aren't as good. Mine "lost" a credit so I had to take a class twice. Not the most friendly people. Deans and the Principle try to be cool with the kids versus actually doing whats best for them and doing their job as servants for the students."

"Only went to Forest Lake for one year, but I consider it to be a good school. I mean every school isn't perfect, but nothing to complain about."
