"What I love the most about Washington Tech is the teachers. When I attend there, I felt like the teachers understand me better. They used different methods to try and make the students understand better. The second thing that I like about Washington Tech is that the school offer a lot of college readiness programs such as College Possible, Get Ready, and Trio Upward Bound. To me, these programs are very important. They helped me understand the importance of college, and also get me ready for my college experience. Without these programs, I cannot go to college."

"I had attended Washington from 9th grade up until 12th grade. Overall I enjoyed my time at Washington. A majority of the faculty care about their students and give one hundred percent when giving a lesson. The teachers are also able to handle students who may be distracting the class from learning. The food at Washington is alright. I personally don't always look forward to it because it isn't that great to me. I eat for the nutrition not the taste, but the food isn't horrible either. The school is also very diverse, having a combination of different ethnic groups such as Latino, Black, White, South American, Somalian, and Hmong. The school also has an LGBTQ group helping to bring diversity in sexuality, sexual orientation and gender identity to the school. Washington also helps to prepare its students for college by providing his students access to college readiness programs such as College Possible and Right Track."

"My experience with Washington Technology Magnet School is when I started 7th grade and got involved in many sports and programs. Most people who started with me they stayed until there senior year because they loved Washington. My years in Washington I learned how to make friends and take on leadership role. Playing sports had help me to see that if you keep working to get better at something in the future it will pay off and it did for me. I wasn't really got at soccer or wrestling, but in practice I took it really serious and make every practice count. After years passes, I had gotten better and it pays off, so I did made to varsity team. Leadership I learned from the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps. Being squad leader, I'm always needed to be the best in the squad meaning I got to have the best uniform, shiniest shoe, and good hair cut, so I can show my squad a good example. Washington is a school I will never forgot and forever will be in my heart."
