"Overall, my experience at East Ridge has been a positive one thus far. My teachers tend to be enthralling, my peers tend to be polite, the facilities are clean, modern, well planned out, and clearly organized, and plenty of fruitful opportunities are offered, whether through AP or CIS programs, extracurriculars such as clubs or sports, and future planning resources."

"Over all the teaching goes forms being the best classes I've ever taken to the worst. Some teachers just hate teaching yet are kept so they can coach sports. Aesthetic is very important to the schools admin. Another thing about admin is that they only care for sports regardless of how great the other activities are. Electives are cut each year even though they are the most beneficial classes for lessons like discipline, self awareness, and result in personalities which determines everything you say and do. The students are very much in different groups but it's easy to join groups. They is much hate that as a student I see in other students, such as discrimination against sexuality, race, gender, and there is even people who make fun of people with developmental delays. As for the lunch room, the lunch lady's are some of the most wonderful people I've met in high school, however the food is crap. As a vegetarian, the only options for me include chips, cookies, and juice."

"East Ridge High School is preparing me well for college. However, the student population is not very diverse. This may be because of the small percent of minority families that live around the school. Most students don't take the time to get to know other people, and this is something that I hope will change in the near future."

"Overall my high school experience at East Ridge was very great. I had great connections with all of my teachers and was very involved in the community. There were always opportunities for involvement. I do wish the school was more supportive of the girl sports but overall I had a great experience!"
