"I have only been at New Life Academy for four years, but the community is great and I have grown not only as a student academically, but also as a person and with a mind that considers others in my community. The teachers are great and super friendly. They are willing to offer help when you need it and also are easy to contact. Teachers try to approach different teaching styles and change things up each year so that they can effectively teach. They also communicate well with assignments (at least the teachers that I have had). Some teachers don't grade things right away, but most teachers are fast graders and let you know your grades as soon as they grade them if you ask them to show you."

"I have had a great experience in this school. It's community is nonexclusive and allows for students to grow. Of course some students grow best in other environments, but for me personally, it has been an experience that has greatly impacted me. Whenever I struggle with something, the teachers are willing to help out and also are very understanding. What makes this school unique is that they have a mindset towards community. Each week after chapel, we have community groups which helps us to know our peers better and grow in a community. Another example is decade dance, where each grade in high school (9th-12th) get given a decade and choreograph a dance from that decade. It's a memorable time and also allows for the grades to bond."

"Community is a major part of the school. One, in the sense that it is a Christian school and environment, and fellowship is a big part of our faith. Everyone is also very friendly and excepting (for the most part, there are always the "mean girls"). And since it is a fairly small school, everybody knows everybody and its like one big family committed to God, each other, and learning."

"Just doing this section, makes me miss them all. They are great at what they do- very knowledgeable, approachable, engaging. They made class very bearable and even enjoyable. They are committed to their jobs and their students in all aspects."

"Compared with the other schools in my area, the teachers are obviously engaged in their students' lives. Their attitudes affect the classrooms and they realize the power they have. For the most part, almost all are attentive and engaging, giving course work that is applicable to daily life. There is the occasional teacher who is a poor communicator, but they are all some of the best teachers that I have seen."
