"The social scene at Sauk Rapids is okay but could be better. Student involvement is great. There's not a lot of bullying that takes place, but it is there (in person/online). Usually it's because someone cheated in a relationship or someone called someone a bad name. Most students however, are genuinely nice and accepting."

"Theres a lot of 'cliques'. There's the preps, people from the 'ghetto/hood', the hicks, the nerds, etc. Not everybody seems to get along, but when they do, the school is very nice."

"The academics are great at this school. The school provides all of the basic core classes that you need, including AP versions or the courses. The scheduling process takes time. I think they give you a week to enter what classes you want, and the schedule comes out just before the start of the new year. If you don't get a class that you want, or have a class that you don't want, my advice is to either get you butt to the counselor's office or learn to live with it. The first week or two of each new tri, the counselors are in overdrive. There is a line that goes all the way down the hallway, to change classes. They aren't always the friendliest during this time either."

"Now that our district gives out laptops & iPads, it's a lot easier when it comes to doing online assignments or homework."

"The teachers at SR are phenomenal. Most of them are super caring and will help you succeed. There are a few every now and then that seem 'mean' or 'tough' but they are just preparing you for the future. One thing I wish they did differently was set us up for college. At SR the teachers almost hand feed you the work (ie assignments, due dates, etc). In college, the professor tells you the due date once and that's it. There is no chance to turn in late work (usually). Overall, the teacher at SR were great, and made high school a breeze. Some of them were even like family, not just teachers. They treat you as family."
